The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
